Summary of Deadlines:

Please observe the following deadlines upon submitting forms and entries.

• Preliminary entry (OC Online Reservation System) - June 30, 2021
• Accommodation reservation (OC Online Reservation System) - June 30, 2021

• Numerical entry deadline (ICF SDP online system) - July 27, 2021

Visa Policy

The Czech Republic is a part of the European Union (EU) and belongs to the Schengen Area. Many countries enjoy visa-free entry to the Czech Republic. However, citizens from some non-EU countries are required to have a valid visa when travelling to the Schengen Area. If a visa is required, be sure to apply at least a month before your visit.

Insurance

All official participants of the 2021 Olympic Hopes Canoe Sprint are strongly advised to take out a medical insurance in their respective countries.

Note: All the costs above the regular first aid, ambulance and physiotherapeutic services are to be covered by your medical insurance policy, the Organising Committee is not responsible to cover your expenses in connection with hospital, dental or any other medical treatment.

Boat Rental

There will be NO Boat Rental provided by the Organising Committee, please contact directly individual boat builders.

Catering

Teams that will book their accommodation through the Organising Committee will be on a full board basic:

• Breakfast will be served at the official hotels.
• Lunch will be provided at the Regatta Venue.
• Dinner will be served at the official hotels.

Note: The Organising Committee will offer possibility to purchase additional lunches at the Regatta Venue.

Payments

The Accommodation and Participation Fees are to be paid as below.

Terms of Payment:
Booking to be made before June 30, 2021 via the OC Online Reservation System.
A deposit of 60% of the total booked amount is required before July 27, 2021.
The remaining balance is to be paid by August 15, 2021.

Cancellation Policy:
Notification from booking confirmation before August 5, 2021: no cancellation fee, refund of 100% of the paid deposit (minus costs of bank transaction fee, if any).
Notification from August 5, 2021 to August 15, 2021: 50% refund of the total invoiced amount.
Notification after August 15, 2021: no refund of the paid deposit.

Note: The Organising Committee reserves itself the right to charge the responsible person from each National Federation that books a place at the 2021 Olympic Hopes Canoe Sprint Regatta which is not used.

Note: The currency of the account is EURO so please make sure that your payment is in EURO. Please do not forget about the transaction fees. It is National Federation´s responsibility to pay these extras when transferring money to our bank account.

Payment at the Accreditation Centre:

Payment due to additional accommodation changes or payment of Participation Fee in case accommodation is not booked through the Organising Committee, is also possible at the Accreditation Centre upon National Federation´s arrival either in cash – EURO or by credit card (VISA, VISA ELECTRON, MASTERCARD, MAESTRO).

Note: Cash payment on site is only possible up to EUR 10.000. An amount of over EUR 10.000 must be paid by National Federation (Team Leader, Secretary General, etc.) directly to the bank account of the Beneficiary at the local bank (Česká spořitelna, a.s., town of Roudnice nad Labem).

Accommodation

Reservation of the official hotels can be made through the Organising Committee only. You are kindly requested to book your accommodation using the OC Online Reservation System at www.canoeracice.com/forms.
This needs to be done no later than June 30, 2021. Changes regarding the accommodation will be accepted only if made by the OC Online Reservation System.

All National Federations will have received the registration code to the OC Online Reservation System by email by the end of May 2021.

According to the Convention the Organising Committee offers a discount price to all countries of the Visegrad Group (no more than 35 people of one National Federation). Higher hotel´s category is also available at full rate if required.

Note: Accommodation Fee does not include airport transfer from/to the official hotels or Regatta Venue.
The Organising Committee does not take any responsibility for any extra services of the hotels like minibar, telephone, parking, laundry, etc. These costs are directly collected by the hotel.
