Olympic Hopes regatta in Račice

ohr2016Regatta venue in Račice is proud to host another great international event - Canoe Sprint Olympic Hopes 2017. 797 participants from 33 countries including Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Tunisia, Singapore, Japan or Argentina will fight for medals from Friday to Sunday.

Olympic best are also World Championship best

20170827 03717 racice compressorThere was no Olympic hangover for four Rio gold medallists as they won titles on the final day of the ICF Sprint Canoe World Championships in Racice, Czech Republic, on Sunday. Liam Heath, Lisa Carrington, the Hungarian women’s K4 500 and the German men’s K4 crew all won gold in front of a capacity crowd and in perfect paddling conditions.

The first day of finals at World Championships in Račice is over and what a day it was. There was only one downside from my point of view.  That was the short shower during the morning program, but even that was rather refreshing and didn`t thin the crowd.
